Great little Recorder,
By A Customer
This review is from: Panasonic RQ2102 Cassette Recorder (Office Product)
Great little recording tool, almost perfect sound recording for
the price definitively the best all-around simple tape recorder,
much better than Radio Shack's $49 and even higher priced. The
standard recorder. Great for seminars, school, I use it for
phone recording and song composition. I have a recording studio
and this is a very valuable piece vs. the costly equipment.

Can you kindly tell me how you use this item for phone recording? Does it have a phone jack built into it? Is it possible to record phone conversations without a beep or noise of any kind that might alert the second party? Would be very grateful for your help. Thx

If this machine has a mike Jack you can easily record phone conversations. You must buy a phone recording accessory. It 's a wire with one end that plugs into the mike Jack the other end looks like a suction cup that sticks on your phones receiver.
I had one of these doohickeys years ago and it worked like a charm giving me voice perfect recordings. There is no beeps or dings that will alert the other individual that you are recording what is being said.
Be careful though most all states have laws regarding phone recording depending on how you use it.
