Simple, Small, Basic Alarm Clock,
This review is from: RCA RCD20 High Quality Alarm Clock and 0.7-Inch LCD (Electronics)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program (What's this?)Yeah, that pretty much says it all. This is your basic barebones alarm clock. You set the time, you set the alarm, you turn the alarm on, the alarm goes off.
If you are looking for a basic "entry level" alarm clock this will more than do the job.
The light from the display is a yellowish green on a green background, which is kind of bright for an alarm clock. Most higher level clocks use red since it is less strain on the eyes to see. And they can be dimmer while still allowing you to see the display.
There is a small night light function built-in which illuminates a translucent white light on top. Not very bright but a source of light none the less. This would probably make a good "Child's first grown-up" alarm clock.
The buzzer for the alarm is loud enough without be disconcerting and it should be able to wake most people up.
Overall for the price I can't say there is anything wrong about this alarm clock, it gets the job done. I give it four stars because it is a very basic base model, and I do find the screen to be brighter than I would like for an alarm clock as it could potentially wake those up who have sensitivities to bright lights while sleeping.
If you have any questions about it feel free to leave a comment and I would be happy to try an answer.
