Regarding which way you put the headphones on -- they do in fact have L and R labels (although it's hard to see the letters). The L side has three protruding vertical bumps (braille?) which is an easy way to identify it.

Well thank you for letting me know! I didn't even notice that. I hope wasn't a reason for you to vote the review unhelpful.

Excellent review. It hits all the points, not too long, not too short, and articulate. Also, I agree about the 10 feet of cord being a bit excessive.

Elaborate on the sound quality. What about pumping basses or high pitches?

 kaduzy says:
The sound quality is good. The headphones allow you to really hear separate instruments and the bass isn't overwhelming even when you have the bass turned all the way up. I don't listen to high-pitched music, so I cannot speak to that.

The reason my review does not focus on sound quality is because that is not my area of expertise, nor even the thing I am most concerned about with a pair of headphones. Comfort comes first with me, always.

Just for the record, the sound in the left ear of my headphones went out for no reason, and I had to send them back to the company for a replacement at my own expense. I am going to switch brands again if this next pair does the same. And I expect that it will. I've learned not to expect a long life from affordable headphones.
