Great TV for the price,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: VIZIO E480i-B2 48-Inch 1080p Smart LED HDTV (Electronics)
To be honest for the price (under $600 when I bought it) I did not expect too much, I have now had this wonderful TV in my living room for about 2 days now, and I have to say I am impressed. It does not sound half bad, which is the curse of most flat panel TVs now. The picture is good and works well even in rooms where the lighting is hard to control.
The menu system is relatively easy to get through; however, some of the apps could have used a little more development and could be a little more consistent. Many of the apps are Yahoo based. I have to ask... Why Yahoo?
I do recommend you plan to get a smart remote for this TV. I am not sure why companies think this is OK, but when I buy a big screen TV even a cheaper one, I expect a half ways decent remote.
I also have to ask who's idea was it to make an energy star sticker with an adhesive that leaves a residue and stick part of it to the screen? That is stupid. Still trying to get some of the residue off.
All and all this is not a bad TV for the price and I recommend it, for what that is worth.

Just curious where you got it for under $600? Was it an amazon deal or something else?
Edit: I see that it's for the 480i-b2 model as opposed to the VIZIO E550i-B2 55-Inch 1080p 120Hz Smart LED HDTV that I was looking at. I guess they put the reviews together!
