This review is from: Maid Sama! Vol. 5 (Paperback)
In this volume Cafe Maid Latte is in danger of being replaced by a butler cafe! And the ringleader is a surprise character reappearance! Misa and Subaru team up to go undercover as butlers to the audition for the new cafe, only to run into Usui and Aoi! When it is discovered that Subaru is a girl, and Aoi is not a high school student, Misa and Usui are paired together, and things are going great for them until Misa falls off the stage and is saved by Usui, who breaks his arm. Although in pain, Usui keeps pushing himself to win the audition until Misa intervenes and announces to everyone at the audition that it's more important to support each other than worry about perfect service.
While Usui is taken to the hospital, the members of the butler cafe, swayed by Misa's speech, decide to open their cafe elsewhere. Then, after Usui is released from the hospital, Misa goes to his house to nurse him back to health. While her cooking skills were seriously lacking, the two become closer, and Misa seems very happy about it.
I really liked this volume. It shows Usui's serious side, and shows how much he really loves Misa. Misa also seems to like Usui a lot more in this volume. It also gives a better look into Usui's life and personality. This is a great series and is a must read for shojo fans.
