Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Assassin's Creed III [Download] (Software Download)
I got the amazon downloader version, which installed it I guess, but when I ran it, it opened ubisofts uPlay thing, which I'm not so keen on, and uPlay required me to download it again and reinstall it. I can't help but feel that I did something wrong, but without instruction I did what I could. If the game hadn't been free for me I would complain more, though I wish I had gotten the Steam version rather than the frustrating version. I mean uPlay version.
As to the game, it looks brilliant, but it was incredibly boring. I stopped playing after the first hour because I was not entertained. Perhaps I am missing some great fun, but honestly, why spend an hour holding down the spacebar and W keys running from cut scene to cut scene when I can start some other game and have fun right away?

Eric T. says:
Even on steam... you have to open these games through UPlay sadly. So you can't really hold that against it here.
