4.0 out of 5 stars One textbook I ENJOYED reading, August 19, 2012
By
This review is from: Macroeconomics (4th Edition) (Paperback)
This book is very current and covers topic including where prices come from, the economics of healthcare, unemployment and inflation, international trade, money, banks and the federal reserve. With this being an election year, all of this is information everyone should have.

The questions were very thought provoking and often led to additional reading of articles in the NY Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, The Motley Fool, etc.

I learned a lot from this book and was fortunate to be able to reference it for my sociology class! I will not resell this book as it is a great reference for someone like me just getting started in finance and economics.

Did your copy of the book from Amazon come with the access code or card for MyEconLab (the Pearson Online stuff)?

My professor will be administering homework, quizzes, and reviews using MyEconLab... so I need a copy of the book that comes with the code (or I will need to buy one separately).

Hello, Brian,
My professor did not use MyEconLab and I did not get the code bundled with the book. I took it over the summer (16 week class in 8 weeks) so I don't know if he felt it was too short of a class to use the lab? You may have to purchase it separately. Since it is Pearson, I think you can buy a code directly from there.

Best of luck to you in this course!
