This review is from: Vanity Fair Magazine (Kindle Tablet Edition) (App)
I was really afraid to get this app for my Kindle Fire because of all the negative reviews, but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. It sounds like a lot of the problems have to do with subscribers, so I'm just using it to purchase single issues - just in case. But, my first issue has been great and I love that it's interactive. The magazine is very easy to navagate because there are lots of little notes telling you to "click here" or arrows telling you which way to turn. I've found that you can't zoom in like I've been able to do with other non-interactive digital magazines, but I have no problems at all seeing the text clearly and the photography is just beautiful. What I really like is that after you finish an article, there is a section giving you options to read more about the subject in different blogs and things on the Vanity Fair website. You just click on them and it will take you right there and then you can go back to where you left off reading. That is probably what I like the best about the interactive part of the magazine. I don't read Vanity Fair every month so I doubt if I'd subscribe anyway, but when I do want to read the magazine I'll definitely stay with this app.
