Reduce Eyestrain and Give Your Television a Cool Glow,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Antec Bias Lighting for HDTV with 51.1-Inch Cable (HDTV BIAS LIGHTING) (Personal Computers)
I asked my ophthalmologist about watching TV in a darkened room, and she confirmed that the extreme contrast does strain your eyes. Rather than turn on lights that might glare on the screen, I bought this bias lighting kit. It fits my 60" Sharp AQUOS perfectly. (Be sure to peel off the plastic film on the light strip.) I didn't want to permanently affix it to my TV, so rather than use the adhesive side, I used a few pieces of Scotch tape. That way, it's easy to remove or move. Works great, and it really does seem to enhance the television's picture.
