These lights don't blend well with conventional (non LED) lights,

This review is from: 100 LED Mini Holiday Christmas Lights Clear (Kitchen)
I bought these lights to replace our conventional (non-LED) white lights that burned out. But when we put these new LED lights on the tree with our old conventional colored lights, these LED lights completely "outshined" the colored lights, but not in a good way. You could hardly see the colored lights. This problem might be fixed if we got colored LED lights too. (** Update: the following year we tried using these with colored LED lights on the tree, but we still hated it. The lights are so much brighter than the ornaments, it almost makes the ornaments back-lit, like silhouettes. Plus, I hate the blink-effect, and for some reason, a multi-colored strand of LED lights gives the overall impression of being way too blue-heavy. This year, we're back to plain old, power-sucking, tree-drying, fire-hazard conventional tree lights. **)
The lights also produce a glaring bluish light, not a soft off-white light. And if you move them, it looks like they're blinking really fast. It's not that noticeable when they're on the tree and you're sitting still, but when you get up and walk across the room, out of the corner of your eye it looks like the lights are flashing really fast -- the same effect as when you see an old computer screen on TV news. I'm not sure if this would be noticeable to everyone, but it is to me.
On the up side, these don't get hot or dry out your Christmas tree. They also work really well inside a pumpkin, if you use Christmas lights to light your Jack-O'-Lantern.
