I am very excited to start this diet....it sounds like something that is just what I need. I really liked the content-motivation and encouragement mixed in with lots of facts and research. However, when reading this book, the lack of editing or transition to the Kindle edition was terrible!! Did anyone look at the book before it was published? Many of the chapters, talking about days are missing the dash...such as days 511 instead of 5-11. Or several references to an 8 inch tortilla completely neglect to mention the inches...8 tortilla? Many parenthesis are missing and it lowers the quality of the book. I know this is picky, and I tried to ignore it, but it was distracting and I feel that for a book I'm paying for, someone should have done their job better!

Just an update to my comment.....I stand by the terrible editing and have found more errors.....but this has been the MOST delicious diet I have ever been on! I have 3 children ages 11, 12, and 13, and they have been mostly happy with the dinners too. To please them and eat healthy is huge in my book! I am on phase 3 now, and feel that I am able to resist sugar better. I will definitely be able to keep cooking and eating like this for the long haul!

You are NOT being too picky about this. We pay good money expecting a book comparable to one we would buy at a bookstore. Why should we not expect it to be proofed the same? It is unacceptable to give us junk, and we should demand our money back in those cases, just as we would if a page was missing or the cover was torn off.

If they don't attend to basic editing details, how can one trust that the rest of the content is accurate? Yes, proofreading is critical. I lose faith in a book when it is a grammatical mess.
