This review is from: Obenauf's LP Boot Preservative 8 oz - Preserves and Protects Leather - Made in the US (Automotive)
This is the only product I will use on my expensive work boots. Its easy to apply, gore-tex safe, contains no neatsfoot, mink oil, or petroleum products. I also recommend their cleaner and leather oil. Its great stuff that actually works.

Hi there, Robert.

I plan to use it to protect my Car's Leather Seats. Just wondering does it make the surface slick, or it doesn't really ruin the leather's softness....etc.

Sorry, I did not know any one made a comment.
If your still interested, I would not use the Heavy Duty LP on your cars leather seats. The LP is a wax that provides a great water/chemical proof barrier. Since it is a wax it does leave a waxy feeling to the leather. However, Obenaufs does make an oil leather conditioner that I would not hesitate to use on a cars leather, just make sure you allow it a few hours to dry. I did not find the link to obenaufs leather oil on amazon, but you can go to obenaufs web sit and get it their. Additionally, their white jaguar leather cleaner is just great. It is very mild yet hard working and clean up work boots nicely while being very gentle on the leather.

I do NOT recommend this on leather car seats. Wrong product for that. Keep it on your footwear. Go to a car place or box store and purchase "leather conditioners" for cars. There are tons of fine products for auto leather care. (spray, liquid, and even wipes) This LP product will ruin your seats and your clothes. It is not made to sit on.
