4.0 out of 5 stars Stylish grill with great performance, April 1, 2010
This review is from: Element by Fuego Dual Zone Gas Grills (Lawn & Patio)
The design flaw of the bottom panel doesn't stop me from giving this five stars. I've cooked many things on this grill now. It's performed reliably and admirably and the cooking surface is big enough to handle quite a lot. I love the design of the inner and outer burners, and the small footprint of the whole thing. Every guest I've had to dinner has admired it, and it makes a fine-looking yet fully functional accessory for your summer parties. Highly recommended!

I have down graded my review from 5 stars to 4 stars. Although this grill performs great grilling, roasting and bbq'ing, it can be a pain to clean! Getting under the burners to clean up grease can be a difficult task. I do cover the bottom with tin foil and that seems to help keep most of it clean but there are still some "grease traps" that the grease will end up in. I still recommend this grill if you're looking for a smaller stylish grill with great performance.

I would be interested to know how you find clean up on this grill when cleaning under the cooking grids and burner elements
Thanks

Cleaning under the burners can be difficult. I found that if you cover the bottom of the grill as much as possible with tin foil, then cleanup is easier. Just gently rollup and remove the foil when the grill is cool. I recover the grill bottom about every other time I use it. There are still some spot to clean but it will be less of a hassle and time consuming if you cover most of the bottom with tin foil.

Frank thanks for the great suggestion I am more apt to use the grill more frequently if I know that clean up won't be a nightmare.
This should be very helpful especially when doing steaks and chicken which get more messy then seafoood

"Rate it for what it is meant for ...GRILLING!!!" These are your own words about reviews to this grill Frank, yet you feel entitled to remove a star because you feel the the grill is hard to clean? Hypocrite much?
