2.0 out of 5 stars Not So Super Sweats..., November 25, 2012

Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was disapointed by these sweats. The waistband elastic is not strong, allowing the pants to slip down unless the tie string is tightly tied. Also, they do not pull up as far as I would like.

On the plus side I appreciate the pockets, and the material is a nice, heavy weight.

For a little more money I would suggest the Hanes EcoSmart sweatpants. I have a pair of those which I find far more comfortable.

The Hanes EcoSmart sweatpants have No pockets, which I want.

Been searching for an hour (I read 1-star First!)!?-
Trying to find quality sweatpants with pockets, where the drawstring doesn't break/pill/loose elastic at ankle/..., seems to be impossible?

Try Fruit of the Loom, sweats, they have nice deep pockets, don't think they have drawstring but much thicker and wider elastic on waist. It's available right here on Amazon.

Champion also makes "eco" sweatpants (Champion Men's Champion Eco Relaxed Band Pant) that do have pockets. They also have a relaxed fit ankle. The inside of the pockets have pilled a bit on mine because of the rubbing of my EDC knife that I keep clipped in the pocket, but so far they seem to be holding up well. I've had mine for a bit less than a year so far but they see a LOT of wear because I basically live, work, and sleep in sweatpants.

I was wrong about FOTL, since they DO have a drawstring, however the dark grey ones seem to pill although the navy blue, and the black ones do not. I was told that this happens when there is a higher percent of polyester in fiber content of the grey. My appreciation of the on seam pockets is such that I'm still happy withthem since I mainly wear them around house and yard. Next time I'll try Champion socks though because all reviews indicate they are well cushioned, better than most others. The cushioning is very important to me; need it very much these days.
