Seems crazy to price gouge on a card that is making it's fame on a bang for the buck reputation. $100 cheaper than the 680 and very close in performance, so paying over what a 680 should cost is nuts. I wish Amazon frowned on this type of thing.

Anyways I had the 570 version of this card and it was great and my 670 (from Amazon @ MSRP) is coming today, pretty excited.

Hopefully the third party vendors aren't selling many cards at their gouge price. Just have to be patient; I'm still waiting on my 2nd one through Amazon. Great card though, idle to load with no audible difference in my case. Love it!

Got my card in now, great performance out of the GPU and Gigabyte's Windforce is outstanding. At desktop now with the GTX fans at 20% and the temp is 27c, gaming with 90-100% GPU load fans spool up to 40-48% (still pretty quiet at this level) and temps are between 60-68C, ambient temp around 68F Silverstone FT02 case....nice!

Isaac, please can you tell your ambient temp?

Sounds like this person you mentioned is collecting orders and then ordering the stock so as to not tie up his money in inventory. Its a common trick some people use to make money with minimum financial commitment on their part. In some overseas destinations people have no option but to go with this type of seller as the items are rarely locally stocked, however in the US the buyer be aware principal applies as there are plenty of options for buyers so they can avoid these people altogether.
