1.0 out of 5 stars WHY WHY WHY?!?, December 11, 2011
This review is from: Amadeus (Director's Cut) [Blu-ray Book] (Blu-ray)
I'd really like to see the movie "Amadeus". However, I am forced to watch the director's cut. I'm sure someone decided this was a better version, but I really prefer the original. There is a reason these scenes were cut.

At least give me the option to see the original on blu ray. I don't want an extra 30 minutes that take the movie from amazing to 'overlong'.

No, it is NOT worth the value. The movie is better in lower definition in its original form. Me thinks this fellow is a pathological internet troll.

There is no option to disable the extra scenes. I don't LIKE the extra scenes, I feel they detract from the movie. I feel ripped off for paying for this and not being given a simple option of disabling the 'director's cut' and watching the orignal film.

Generally speaking, it is always good to have an option to play the theatrical version.

Some movies are arguably better with added scenes [Das Boot], others without [Alien].
Discs can always be manufactured, with options. Why not provide them.

He's saying the original theatrical release that won several Academy awards, should be released on blu-ray. Not the directors cut with the filler added pack. Me thinks you need to read better
