Almost as great as the first but dumbed down,

This review is from: Mass Effect 2 Platinum Hits (Video Game)
Mass Effect was one of the best RPGs I've ever played and its sequel is almost as impressive. Some say the sequel is better but for every improvement, what they dumbed down in terms of party member management made it feel more action rpgish. Still loved it and I'm especially pumped for the third game.
Renegade and Paragon action prompts
improved combat, especially melee, and powers
weapon and power research upgrades
Meaninful choices Ex. Team members can die or survive the final mission based on your actions
Powers, especialy having the choice to choose a party member's special power
Less armor choices. Without the DLC you just have the N7 armor.
Experience points are hard to come by and aren't reflected when for example you kill an enemy unless you're in a mission.
Money is harder to come by and only earned through a mission.
Can't collect and sell equipment
