I have this book on my recipe book holder in my kitchen pretty much everyday. I have made many many of the recipes and have not been disappointed one bit. I am especially happy with the baked goods. I have been cooking gluten free since June 2012 and was at first very unhappy with any of my baking efforts. Cookies would come out broken and dried up looking and they just didn't taste very good. When I got this book, all of that changed. The flour blend is consistent through the entire book, it is easy to find the flours at my grocery store, and its easy to make it in bulk. My favorites have been the chocolate chip cookies, the snickerdoodles, and the peanut butter cookies. I recently made the pie crust for Thanksgiving, but couldn't find my pie plate, so ended up making a tart instead...and the recipe worked fabulously! It was easy to roll out and make and not too sticky (they have you put it in the fridge for 30 minutes). The waffles actually tasted light and fluffy...a true feat with gluten free flours...the secret is in separating the eggs and whipping the whites in at the end. The pancackes are also fantastic. I make these regularly on the weekends. Some of the entrees I have made include: General Chang's Chicken, Indian Red Curry, Red Lentil Dal, and Lime Cilantro chicken. They did not disappoint!
Anyways, I highly recommend this cookbook for anyone who likes great tasting and easy to make food, whether they need to be gluten free or not. My request of the authors would be create their next cookbook to include cooking times and to include more nutritional information.
This book was definitely worth the money and in my opinion, the BEST gluten free cookbook out there.
