This review is from: Pearl Izumi Men's Thermal Glove (Sports Apparel)
September in Minnesota can be unpredictable. Two days ago the temp reached 95 degrees F. This morning it was in the low 50's. Probably not cool enough to try these gloves, but I did anyway for my 15 mile commute. I put them on over my regular biking gloves. Two things I noticed were:
1) Nice fleeced thumb for wiping my nose
2) Sticky thingies on the fingers that made grabbing the brakes on my road bike feel secure.
Too early in the fall to assess their thermal value, but, like most Pearl gear, I think I'm going to like 'em.
I'll update later as the temp goes down.
Rode to work at 42 degrees F. Fingers a bit cool for first 15' of ride, then, as core warmed, hands felt fine. Good wind resistance, and, again, I like the fleece thumb. I'm thinking they will be good down to about 35 degrees.
