i love it,
This review is from: DuroStar DS4000S, 3300 Running Watts/4000 Starting Watts, Gas Powered Portable Generator (Lawn & Patio)
Just what I needed, and Every household should own a generator. I bought this generator for not that much. I have used it several times when I had power outages. A good item.

Can you tell me what the noise level is like for this generator? We are looking to purchase a good sized generator for tailgating but don't want to annoy everyone around us. Thanks!

Mr Hookup SD says:
This is a bit to much for a tailgate party. Even if you had 10 TV's plugged in and 10 lights all around you would maybe pull 1000 watts.
What i would do is figure out the usage of all your planned to bring electrical items.using a watt mater like the KillaWatt P3 P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor
Add them up and you may see you could run it all on a an extra car battery or 2.

It'a a bit loud for camping and it would be loud and too much power for just tailgating. Great for home.

Thanks for all the comments guys!
I have a whole house generator 1Kw, 1.3Kw surge. It's loud, I mean loud!
But I'm also looking for a good low wattage, & portable generator, thats not loud!
It looks like all of the generators sold, that are quiet, cost a premium.
I'm hoping to find one here at Amazon, that won't cost me my right arm.
