This review is from: Hacking with Kali: Practical Penetration Testing Techniques (Paperback)
This book is good for beginners but doesn't go much further than that. I good portion of the book is instruction on how to set up Kali. I was surprised that wireless hacking wasn't even covered. Good for absolute newbies but beyond that, much of the information can be found elsewhere and more in-depth.

Jeff,
The beginner was the focus of this book and Andrew and I hope it helps to get the beginner the basic information that is needed to begin learning to use Kali as a tool to conduct security assessments and introduce this reader to the hacking life cycle. We did go back and forth on the inclusion of wireless in the book. If readers believe this should be added I will add a chapter online that covers the basics of wireless hacking with Kali that will enhance the book.
Thank you for your feedback,
Jim Broad

Thanks for your reply. I would think that wireless hacking would be a much needed chapter as wireless and mobile devices are attractive targets.
