This review is from: 4-Port Wall to USB Travel Adapter Charger for Cell Phone, Mp3 Player or Other USB Powered Devices - Fold-up/Flip-down AC Prongs for Convenient Storage (Electronics)
This adapter only provides 300ma output per port. That's not enough for a lot of modern devices. That's probably why some reviews that say it doesn't work. It just doesn't have enough power to get the job done. Not so good for a 4-port device you are looking to depend on for travel.

I was wondering how you found out how much power was delivered to each port. I do believe there is a false description on this charger as I, too, have found the product lacking in it's performance. It should have been disclosed how this device functions if that is how they set it up to work. I need no less than 1.8 amps to charge my Kindle and this doesn't seem to be the charger to use to do the job as its description states. Not nice. Oh, and I'm only charging one device at a time so it's not like the power is being divided up either. I will say this, at least it seems to continue charging my Kindle if I use ONLY THE BOTTOM usb port. Maybe that one delivers the full 2.1 amps (as long as you don't try charging anything else, of course).
