Vested outsourcing lives up to the transformation billing in its title,
This review is from: Vested Outsourcing: Five Rules That Will Transform Outsourcing (Hardcover)
This is a unique book on many levels. First of all, it shows how collaboration in a critical business process that can provide a win-win-win situation for those who provide outsourced services, those who use outsourced services, and the customers at the receiving end of the supply chain. This is a surprisingly detailed, yet easy concept book to read. The authors name names and identify sources. . .which makes it easy for the reader to get at more detailed information on ideas presented in the book. The way the message is presented leaves no doubt but that the authors have been there and done that. The information on the dust cover reveals the impetus for collaboration in the outsourcing processes. The introduction caused me to look at outsourcing in a slightly different way. Consequently, I read the book in a single setting.
I predict that, as a concept, vested outsourcing will take its place alongside the six sigma quality concept and the lean operations concept in future business communications as well as conferences.
