This review is from: The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology That Fuel Success and Performance at Work (Hardcover)
I've been listening to this book as an audiobook from the local library. I like it enough that I'm purchasing the book to read. I'm about halfway through the audiobook.
As an audiobook, I was at first annoyed that the author is reading this himself, rather than a professional reader, but I quickly came to appreciate the pleasure the author takes in his work. It really comes through in the tone of his voice and I don't think I would have heard the same book if a professional reader had read it.
The information doesn't come across like it's coming out of a text book; it's more conversational and understandable. The techniques he presents are doable, most sound fun. I like that the author talks about the different ways various clients and companies have incorporated the same techniques into their lives and work.
I may add more to this when I've finished.
