Run about a 1/2 size....,

If you only want your heal to be 1/2" from the back edge, don't go with a size up if you are a half-size shoe. I usually wear 10.5 in Nike brand shoes. I bought the Size 11 which left an inch from heel to back edge and 1.5 inch from toe to front. I re-ordered the Size 10 and it's a perfect fit. There are a total of three straps. Across the front portion of the foot, over the foot and also one to position your heel (back strap). You can completely adjust them for a great fit.

Not my real name guy says:
This is correct sizing advice for Tevas, which run large, particularly in models in which they do not offer half sizes - order 1/2-1 size down. E.g. I wear a 10.5 dress/casual shoe, and an 11 in court shoes, running shoes or other brands of sandals, but the size 10 Hurricane fit me and the 11 was too long.

I totally agree. I wear an 11 1/2 and originally bought the 12 size years ago but returned it for the 11. I buy size 11 every year. Perfect size. I wear them every day in my house so I need to buy a pair every year. I have another pair for walking outside in the Summer months. Best sandals I ever had and prefer the Hurricane XLT over the other Teva models I had.
