This review is from: Knocked Out Loaded (Audio CD)After reading reviews that this album and Down In the Groove are Dylan's worst albums, and still determined to collect all his albums, I find that this album is pretty enjoyable and a couple songs are my favorites. In my opinion, Dylan's worst albums are quality-wise at least as good as most other artists' best. There is just something about them. Also, they reflect the time and mood when they were made.

Johnny Boy says:
I agree with you 1,000,000%. Dylan's records often get slammed when they aren't a 'Blonde on Blonde' or 'Blood on the Tracks' just because Bob Dylan made them. If Loverboy (just picking a random band) had made 'Knocked out Loaded,' critics would probably have hailed this a masterpiece. For some reason, the expectations for Bob Dylan are so high that every time he releases a record it has to be 'BOTT.' But, Bob Dylan on his worst day is better than 91% of music, in my opinion (this includes Loverboy).
