Doesn't fit the new 2011 13" Mac Air keyboard well.,

This review is from: iPearl High Grade Silicone Keyboard Skin Cover for MacBook / Pro / Air in Retail Packaging - PURPLE (Electronics)
I ordered the iPearl purple hard case for my new Mac Air and that fits and looks terrific. At the same time I ordered this silicone keyboard cover to be sure the colors would match. Since I had previously ordered the iPearl red case and red silicone keyboard cover for my daughter's new Macbook Pro 13" and that all fit perfectly, I assumed this would as well. However the key cutouts for this cover are cut too deeply, so that when placed on the keyboard the middle sinks in and there are raised edges around each key. Simply impossible to type on. The Air came with a very thin clear silicone cover which I am using now, that fits well, and you can see the difference in the cutout.
I am not sure whether the Airs have a slightly different keyboard, or whether the run of these covers was made a bit different from the red ones or what. I emailed the company to let them know of the problem and they are completely willing to refund or exchange. I will probably do that since it won't cost much to mail it back to them, but I will include a letter asking them to check their stock to see if they have any of the thinner ones that are not cut so deep. If they are all like that, then it won't work. Actually I think they are all made in the same factory in China. When I ordered the red ones I got 2 - one from a different company at a different price than the other. When they arrived, they were EXACTLY the same, with the same factory part number on the white package label. Therefore my assumption that ordering from another seller might not get me a better-fitting product.
