This review is from: The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ (Hardcover)
This book is another great one coming out on the 50th anniversary of the assassination. Many of the things I learned built upon what I already knew, such as LBJ having illegitimate children, etc., and his extreme sociopathic behavior.
Even so, I cannot understand how this person ever became President.
What the public knew and what was going on in private were two very different things for both LBJ and JFK. (Undoubtedly applies to today's White House as well.)
I am really glad this book calls out O'Reilly, Posner, and Bugliosi for not telling truth. It is as simple as that. There is just overwhelming evidence of the conspiracy. Emphasizing that the gun was a Mauser and that Oswald had no chemical indications of having fired a gun is crucial. Also the Zapruder film was altered and the autopsy was a reconstruction job.
Based on this book and what goes on in DC today, I think I will not ever vote again.
(just wanted to mention that page 5 "Peaked my interest" should be "Piqued".
Thanks!)

The Zapruder film showing the front head shot was not altered by any stretch. The evidence in plain sight for 50 years. See frame 317. There is nothing on the back of JFK's head. http://www.ufoconspiracy.com/images/Zapruder-frame%20317,%20shot%20from%20the%20grassy%20knoll.jpg

Voting means nothing these days. See the corruption in Congress and what they do with campaign money.

Voting means something to the voter, at least. We act according to our own standards, not just according to what we think our efforts might accomplish. It is time for the rise of the Libertarian Party. Democrats are wholly corrupt; they are liars, obfuscators, and thieves. Republicans have lost their way, having been diluted and discredited by McCainites. It will soon be time for the smart, principled, and sensible people to take this country away from the incompetents currently in charge. The Federal government, whose members currently refer to themselves as members of a "family", needs to be smashed into a thousand pieces.

Ok, what are you going to do to fix it?

Dorine Emery says:
The public was schnookered into voting for him instead of someone like Barry Goldwater. Lies and deceit, the LBJ way. And LBJ was put on JFK ticket instead of Symington, who was JFK choice. Why? Stone addresses this matter in this book.

Snooper's Mom:

The Carcano is known as the Italian Mauser. I believe that the officer who said the rifle found was a Mauser identified it before it was removed from its hiding place, and there are some small differences between the two rifles. Google the two rifles, and see if you can tell the difference.

Gem Pascal says:
Apparently though, the carcano is stamped with a made in Italy, so how could several police officers be mistaken in the most important homicide of their lives? On another topic the updated paperback edition of Stone's book out in September is supposed to have LBJ stealing did I read this right? A billion dollars in gold! With this dude absolutely anything is possible, makes Dick Nixon look like a saint.
