I am so disappointed in this book and I'm so frustrated that I can't find an errata for it. I'm approximately half way through with it and so far I have found three mistakes, or to say the least, inaccuracies. This is not acceptable and the book is now going in the trash. Don't buy this book!

It sounds like you're trashing this book because it has three typos in 400 pages.

How about naming the mistakes (page numbers, etc.) so others can decide whether to buy it and correct the typos.

I do apologize for the errors which are now documented in the errata (in case you're interested I can share some information on how incredibly difficult it is to filter out all errors before publishing). The errata will be uploaded to my website soon (my name with dot com behind it) or are available on request via mail. mail - at - sandervanvugt - dot - com. Thanks and regards,

Linux administration is a serious job. When I invest my money on books and other resources for information and training, I don't expect to find three typos in 400 pages. I can't spend my time trying to figure out why a solution won't work because the editor didn't do his or her job, especially for the amount of money these books cost.
Sorry for the negativity but I'm just being honest.

You found three inaccuracies? Where? Which page #? Which paragraph? Which line? Which code block? Which recipe? Please enlighten us.

Please get the errata from my website (sandervanvugt dot com) to get an overview of all I found and be so kind to send me any if you find some more so that I can update and share with other readers. Thanks, Sander
