If you have Verizon FIOS...you need this.,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Actiontec Ethernet to Coax Adapter for Homes with Cable TV Service (ECB2500C) (Personal Computers)
This thing is awesome! Worked first time I connected it to my coax in another room. If you Verizon Fios with an Actiontec router you will only need one of these as the Verizon router (Actiontec MI424WR) already has a Moca Bridge. Just need to hook one on the cable outlet where you need it. Have 100M and 1Gig interface no problem I also bought an ASUS ethernet switcher so I can hook up more than one LAN line. I also bought a terminator for the unused COAX out connector. You will also need RCA DH24SPR Two Way 2.4 Ghz Bi-Di Splitter and two coax cables RG6.

Jeff, can I email you too to get the description of how you set this up exactly? Do you have a picture of what the set up looks like? Not sure I understand the need for the splitter and the terminator.

Is the connection between this ECB2500C unit and the Actiontec MI424WR plug and play? In other words, does the Actiontec MI424WR automatically broadcast over MoCA? Can I plug the router in in one room, plug an ECB2500 in in another, and have them automatically talk to one another? And will the device attached to the ECB2500 get an IP address from the Actiontec MI424WR if it has DHCP enabled?
Or is there a lot of clever configuration to be done?

I have the same set up but am having connection issues. When I plug in the adaptor I get either no coaxial green or when I switch the "Configuration Run" button on back then I don't get a power green. What am I doing wrong?
