Quick Afternoon Read,

This review is from: Redemption (Kindle Edition)
I am giving this a 4 (probably a little high - a 3-1/2 would probably be more accurate) because really anyone can read it and it is a good quick read. There is really not any sex and I don't recall any swear words for those of you who don't like this in your readings. There is also hardly any violence at all.
It probably would not be 3-1/2 or 4 for someone who really likes mysteries because it is rather short, and not rather suspenseful because you pretty much know what is going on the whole time. The book definitely had the potential to be longer and could have kept you on the seat of your pants. It is too bad the author didn't use that to her advantage.
The story is also a little improbable but I don't want to put any spoilers in this review. But I would to have liked to have known what the purpose of Kay's manager was? You never find out why he was frantically leaving her messages to get back to him. Why was that brought up so many times in the story?
All in all for those people who like mysteries w/o sex, w/o violence and don't like to give much thought into what they are reading (like guessing what is going to happen next or who the killer is) and just want a rather quick read will really enjoy this book.
