Stylish but a bit clumsy,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Beautiful case, very very retro-stylish, good weather protection when closed. However, it's most suitable for erratic photographing since opening the case is a somewhat odd maneuver and the upper cover of your case will dangle under your camera (when taking pictures) having the tendency to break free from its click fittings.
So, imagine, you are visiting an art fair and after showing off with your leather case (in which many still suspect an analog camera) you might consider some more-than-erratic photographing (anyway, you acquired the X100s for the reliable heavy duty work). At that moment you'll have to take off the upper cover. To stow it where? So you need an extra bag. Luckily that extra bag also contains your Caselogic upside-down strap (to be attached at the tripod mount at the bottom of the camera), so when after some retro-stylish shooting with the X100s in the lower part of the leather case you feel the weight of the camera in your neck, you change for the ergonomically perfect fit of the Caselogic strap.
After the shooting, very probably you will stow the X100s in your bag together with its Caselogic strap (just in case you might have to get it out and shoot quickly…). And probably the next time you use the stylish leather case is when you want to show off at another party or art fair. Until……..
