Pretty Good, Could be Better,
This review is from: Square Perfect 1050 Sp500 Platinum Photo Studio with 2 Light Tents and 8 Backgrounds for Product Photography (Electronics)
Used the SP500 Studio to take several hundred pictures for a catalog I was putting together, it did the job adequately, and for a decent price but here are some things that might be helpful:
- Bulbs are really not very bright, as others have mentioned, you will have to add light and/or adjust camera settings
- Backdrops will have wrinkles from folding, iron with a light cloth over it on synthetic setting and wrinkles will come out.
- If you want to get the 30x30x30 tent back in it's case you'll need to use the directions on the square perfect site because the ones that come with it are terrible, Tent folded up nicely using the directions on Square Perfect's site.
- Lastly, the light stands, in order to make these work better I had to take off the white pieces on the top of the light stands and reversed the swivel assembly on the light itself and then screwed the lights directly into the stands, worked much better.
Overall for the money there is a lot of value in this package and with the above adjustments it will get the job done.

I could not figure out how to attach the lights to the stands. I am going to try what is suggested here and see if I have better luck. Thanks for taking the trouble.

This was really an excellent review - well written and informative. Folding pop-up items is not at all intuitive for most people. It was an extremely thoughtful gesture on the reviewer's part to let others know where to find better instructions.
A bad day can sometimes cause even the nicest, most polite person to become impatient, hypercritical and unfairly judgmental. As I happen to be having an unusually GOOD day today, I am happy to assume that you are actually a very nice person who was just having a really bad day when you were inspired to write your comment.
You can always edit it, by the way. That would be a very cool thing to do, particularly as the reviewer has come back to clarify the ISO 80 issue. Whether you reconsider your original opinions, or whether you stand by them (which you have every right to do), I'll bet you could offer them a way that is helpful and adds to the discussion. All the best to you.
