5.0 out of 5 stars I love this printer!, January 19, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Epson Stylus Photo R2000 Wireless Wide-Format Color Inkjet Printer (C11CB35201) (Office Product)
I purchased this printer in December 2011 and hadn't opened it because I wasn't sure of the location. I knew the printer would be large (did my research) so I waited until I found a spot. The set up was super easy and the printer found my wifi location very quickly. I love that the printer can be located anywhere in the house and doesn't have to be directly connected to the computer.

The picture quality is absolutely brilliant. I didn't know what to expect from a home photo printer but I had read so many reviews and run across so many people that have this model that I decided to bite the bullet (the $100 rebate also helped my decision). I'm a full time scrap booker and amateur photographer so I print a lot of photos. I like the freedom and flexibility of deciding how I want my photos printed on the spot instead of sending them out for print and realize that a different size photo would have worked better.

I just ordered extra ink cartridges from the Epson Store because I received a coupon code but the cartridges are a little pricey still.

All in all, I love this printer and recommend it.

Do you have a estimate on price per photo or how many prints per set of cartridges?

Do you print 12 x 12 pages? I'd like to be able to print duplicate pages for my grandchildrens scrapbooks and am looking for the best printer for this use. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks,
Debbie

Yes, I do print 12x12 pages for scrapbooking. I print anything from a 2x2 inch photo to 12x12 and it's perfect! I think quality paper is a factor but the images are just fabulous!

No, I haven't been keeping track of how many photos I print. I'm sorry. I have had the printer since December 2011 and I have only had to replace the gloss optimizer, black and blue cartridges once. I keep an extra refill on hand so that I can replace and then I will place an order for another one. Epson has had coupon codes each time I have ordered so watch out for those. Either is % off or free shipping. Hope this helps.

Did you actually receive a rebate check or did they stiff you as they did me?
