A book that brings leadership back to the basics,
This review is from: The Twelve Absolutes of Leadership (Hardcover)
The Twelve Absolutes of Leadership brings back the basic cores of leadership, shining light on the humbling role of a leader.
For people in your organization to follow you from their heart and respect the message you portray, the twelve abosultes Gary mentions is essential.
Some may consider the principles as cliches, but century-old wisdom commonly heard is probably the most important ones as well.
It was delightful to revisit these principles and be reminded that it leadership is ultimately "about grace, confidence, and touch", and not charisma with a loud voice.
I am glad a person like Gary is leading Korn/Ferry International, in an era where talent is judged without looking at the core.
