WHAT .... AN .... ALBUM!!!! And totally out of the blue. I was in high school in the 60s when Eric Burdon and the Animals hit the scene. House of the Rising Sun, We Gotta Get Out of This Place, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood. All popular tunes at the high school dances. Then came Winds Of Change which is in my all time top 20 albums. I still have the vinyl, a little scratchy but still as satisfying today as it was then. I am happy for Eric. He deserves this and this album is up there with the great ones. Today's music is terrible compared to the 60s and 70s and early 80s. I look forward to releases by these "old timers". And River Runs Dry is on my daily play list. The CD is in my car, the MP3s on my computer and Water gets played on my guitar. Simple chords, Am, Em, etc. Eric's still passionate voice makes this a big hit and I congratulate him for sticking to what earned him the greatness he so deserves. GREAT ALBUM!
