Worthwhile Even If You Read The Previous Edition,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Healing ADD Revised Edition: The Breakthrough Program that Allows You to See and Heal the 7 Types of ADD (Kindle Edition)
I read Dr. Amen's previous edition of this and wondered if it would be entirely redundant. For my particular ADD issues, I found the additional information here to be worthwhile - including a seventh type that fills a missing link in understanding the full spectrum of ADD.
If you read the previous edition you'll notice there is some rehashing of the original material, but even then, it had been re spun and was interesting enough to be worth a second purchase, reread and review.
I've read more than a handful of books on ADD. This is at the top of my stack of most helpful reads. It gives the best big picture understanding of the unique brain issues connected with an ADD person. More importantly, there are dozens of tips on how to live more effectively in light of your brand of ADD.
As I read the specific flavor of ADD I am the most likely to fit, time and again I thought, "Ah, now I understand why I've thought / done / said this or that way over the years. Maybe I'm not entirely nuts after all! In fact, there are some amazing advantages to being an ADD person once you get a grip on how to work with it."
