5.0 out of 5 stars THIS ITEM WORKS WITH LIVE VIEW ON OUR NIKON D5100!, February 20, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Pixel Wired Remote Shutter Release Control compatible with NIKON MC-DC2, for NIKON Nikon D7000 D5100 D5000 D3200 D3100 D90. (Electronics)
I've only just taken delivery of this item, so a more comprehensive review will have to wait until another time, but I just wanted to say that I tried it out on our Nikon D5100, just to see if it was working okay, and it worked fine in live view. I am saying this because I saw another review that said the item didn't work with the Nikon D5100 on the live view setting. I don't know why it would work with one D5100, and not with another (maybe one camera did not have the firmware update 1.01 installed, although I don't know if this would make any difference or not). I just thought I'd let you all know about my experience with this particular aspect of the item's operation.

Where does this connect? I'm not sure which port on the side of my D5100 this would connect to. Can you help me figure this out?
