Flexees vs Spanx,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Maidenform Flexees Women's Shapewear Minimizing Hi-Waist Boyshort (Apparel)
Ok. So I was torn between the flexees product and the Spanx Higher Power product. I decided to give both a shot.
The flexees product has rubber grips at the top- their aim at non slip. Non completely perfect, but effective for me (hourglass/ rounded body shape). What I like about it is that I dont have any rolling or bulging problems like I do with the Spanx. The Spanx is so tight at top it creates a bit of a roll which was impossible to disguise. Also, the fabric on this product is strong. I had a problem with the Spanx tearing/ running on its first use. Between the two, this one is my favorite.

I Prefer this to the Spanx. Its a lot more comfortable for day wear, and its easier to get on and off. I also think that it is a little bit more durable of a material. As far as shaping- the Spanx does a more efficient job, this does more for smoothing than shaping. It can become a little slick for some clothing. I have a pair of jeans that are slightly tight and I wear this to help prevent muffin top- works great- but towards the end of the night when the pants are a little stretched, they have a hard time staying up since the fabric doesn't do much for gripping.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for noting the rubber grips. I am allergic to these and would have gotten a bad rash!
