This review is from: The Bro-Magnet: A Nice Guy Romance Novel (Contemporary Romance) (Kindle Edition)
The Bro Magnet is a story about Johnny, the ultimate man's man, a guy other guys love. But women? Not so much. Johnny is the male version of the perpetual bridesmaid, always the best man, never the groom. When Johnny meets Helen, he's smitten. But Helen is a woman who appears to not like sports and all the other things Johnny is interested in, so he decides to "change" himself in order to win Helen over. He starts calling himself John, declares he's not interested in sports (especially his beloved Mets) and generally makes himself over into the kind of guy he thinks Helen will want.
But Johnny can't hide the real guy inside him--who also happens to be intelligent, kind, and fun to be with (even while attending an opera in a barn!) and soon Helen is just as smitten back. But what happens when Helen discovers that Johnny has been deceiving her all along?
I read this book in one day. It was funny, well written and I absolutely adored Johnny and his wacky crew of friends and family. It's chick lit and romance told from the male point of view. I loved it!
