Ok for the price, but not a good option if using for anything serious,
This review is from: Nikon 7538 10x42 PROSTAFF 7 Binocular (Black) (Camera)
For budget level binoculars these are fine. The optics are good and they feel and look much better made than Bushnells and other budget level brands. The only issue, and it's quite a big one for my purposes (birdwatching and fieldwork) is the focus wheel. It is just too slow. If you're doing any birdwatching in forest habitats, where you often only have a few seconds to focus in and ID your quarry then they are quite frankly not good enough. I compared these to the Monarchs and found the latter to be much better. The monarchs focus quicker and the optics are better. I paid the 150 extra dollars and went for the Monarchs.

I'd rather have a slow focus wheel than the one that rotates too easily. The latter will just rotate off focus when touched by accident.
