Clean bass and full sound.,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Velodyne vPulse In-Ear Headphones (Classic Black) (Electronics)
I use these mostly when working out. In the last 12 months I've purchased 3 sets of earbud headphones. I started with a $60 set of Seinhouser. They stayed in my ears, but lacked any mid range bass. I then moved to a pair of Bose with the white/black cord. Sounded just "ok", but will not go "into" your ear, so again, no good base. I dont want to them to sound like a hip hop club, but at least want a well rounded sound which must include a clean low end. I read a review of the Velodynes on a photography website written by a guy that used to work in the music equipement industry. These are his favorites due to the clean low end and mid range bass AND you still get crisp high end. The on cord controls are simple (but a little heavy on the cord). You get lots of choices of bud sizes. The ear pieces are angled so they fit into your ear canal more naturally. They also feel tough and well made. Velodyne is in the subwoofer business and I think these are their only earbud headphones. Best I have owned so far. I only have two MINOR complaints. The cord controls add weight which is a pain when running, so I simply use a little tape and stick it to my shirt. Problem solved. The other issue is volume. I'd like to be able to get them just a little louder. For the money, I dont think these can be beat.
