1.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for., May 29, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: STK's Canon LP-E6 Battery 2600 mAH - for Canon 7D, 60D, 5D Mark III, & Mark II Digital SLR (Camera)
One of the reasons I bought this battery was because of the great reviews I read on this review feed. Sadly, it did not live up to the hype or expectation. This battery died on me after the first use. As soon as I received the battery it went on my charger. I left out of town to shoot the wedding I initially bought the battery for. I used the battery for my very first shoot and wanted to save the original Canon battery that came with my camera for the actual wedding. Luckily I did this or else I would have been screwed. After this battery died I charged it and when it indicated on my charger it was fully charged, died after two minutes of use. Then when I went to charge it again, it never charged. I placed the battery in my camera and the camera never turned on. So basically I was left with one battery to shoot the rest of the wedding with. I get it, it's only 20 bucks and I should have went with a more expensive battery, especially for an important event such as a wedding, but I thought this battery would of at least gotten me through the wedding and then some. So at this point, the battery is dead, useless and will not work and on its way back to Amazon. You get what you pay for, so if you want a battery that is not going to die after one use and not leave you hanging at an out of town wedding, don't go with this one.
