4.0 out of 5 stars Really good movie, March 13, 2013
By
This review is from: The Last Stand (DVD)
I am surprised that this movie didn't do better at the box office, but I think it was up against stiff competition at the time. I think it was a really good movie and I sure wouldn't mind seeing it again and owning it. Arnold's still got it! A lot of good action with unlikely heroes....some incredible car chase scenes... good plot, and some good laughs, too. I really wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, but was pleasantly surprised! Way to go, Arnold!!! Looking forward to your next project!

It's a shame that it did badly but it wasn't surprising. Lionsgate never bothers to advertise and hype their movies.

Agreed. I really did like the movie.... it was a lot of fun to watch, and it should have done better. I think, too, that a lot of people hold Arnold's actions in his personal life against him.

Agreed! This movie was just coming off the heels of the scandal.

First good review.

I was on the edge of my seat in this film in the theater. I really like the fact that a lot of the firearms I own in real life were in this film. I cried inside for the two Chevy sports cars getting torn up in the corn field.

Yes... they were absolutely beautiful cars.... :( The corvette is my favorite sports car... they have always kept their gorgeous lines....

A man after my own heart. I bought myself a 2013 ZO6 Corvette last year after I sold my online company. Nothing comes close to the history and look of the greatest American Sports car. The new C7 is willing all sorts of awards and races already.

Are you serious. Have you ever heard of a little film series by the name of "The Hunger Games?"

It was the most watched preview on the internet for a few months. I go to about three movies a month and every one of them had Hunger Games in the previews.
