I love this little verson of Boo. They had a different picture than this one, last I remember(I think a picture of the real Boo with sunglasses). Anyways, I thought for some reason it was bigger, but it's just as describe size wise. Because of it's small size it won't take too much room. If you love all things Boo, then it's a good investment. I would not advise to give this to kid under four.

Because toddlers and babies put things in thier mouths constancely. They could accidently inhale buttons causing them to choke.

So your answer is, because it has buttons, which are a choking hazard. That was not evident by your review. Good to know.

It's "itty bitty," just as it claims to be, and kids put "itty bitty" things in their mouths (and often inadvertently swallow them). Granted, this little dog isn't quite as small as I'd think would facilitate that event, but I suppose it might be possible. We have every one of these little guys, and nothing is removable from any of them (everything is stitched on).
