5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Baby Food, October 25, 2010

This review is from: Libbey 6.25-Ounce Small Bowls with Plastic Lids, 16-Piece Set (Kitchen)
I was looking for something reasonably priced that would allow me to store (in the fridge) and serve baby food. Because I do not like to microwave in plastic, something glass and with lids was ideal. I have not had the problems with the lids seeming cheap or leaky at all and the bowls nest nicely so they take up very little space. I freeze food in cubes and then use these dishes to warm and serve or keep food fresh in the fridge. Ideal!

Thanks for your review I wanted to get glass bowls for my son who is a 1 and 1 month and your review help me seal the deal because I make a lot of his food too. I have been using plastic bpa-free bowls but glass is probably waaaay betterto be using in the microwave.

This is exactly what I want them for! Thank you for sharing your experience with the lids. I've been shuffling between 2 glass dishes for multiple meals. I work full time and want to just have these in the freezer for the week and ready to be pulled out.

How many freezer cubes can you get into these containers? I'm looking for something that can fit 5 baby food freezer cubes.
