This review is from: Conviction of a Time Traveler (Paperback)
First off, the author (whoever he may be) does an impressive effort of proving that the whole John Titor story could actually be real. With fairly intense research, and fairly logical reasoning, the author makes an in-depth explanation as to why the John Titor phenomenon could be true. An interesting read and a worthy one for that alone.
I highly recommend anyone interested in the story of John Titor to pick up the book and give it a read as the author does make a compelling case.
That being said, the author does tend to argue the point that, while admittedly being well founded, that many who have argued that Titor was a hoax have been fairly close minded and are willing to go on the smallest bit of evidence as proof their entire argument is true. The author claims numerous times the problem with the research done thus far is that the person doing the research has been completely biased towards their argument, and never taking an indifferent unbiased approach to the situation. This particular point is made numerous times but the impact is lessened as the author takes obviously biased opinion towards the argument that it's NOT a hoax.
Regardless, the author seems fairly credible for the majority of the book, however his credibility does come into question when he argues in the later chapters that Barack Obama is NOT American and does NOT deserve to be president. When one falls victim to the ridiculous birther movement and argues for many pages its merits, especially in light of the recently released birth certificate, the reader begins to doubt the 240 odd pages that came before it. Had this section been left out of the book entirely, it would be a far more compelling and interesting read.

The dynamics of Titor's story are like a "12 Monkey's" fantasy. The story can not be disproven given the varaibles described in the physics of Titor's time travel descriptions. Nor can it be proven. However what is usually most apparent is usually closest to the truth. Like "lemmings to the sea" most folks do not analyze current affains with the mind of a cynic. Regarding the "birther" deal about Obama; A person needs to drop all preconceived notions regarding that subject (actually a number of bonafied "experts" have claimed that the birth cirtificate is a forgery - whatever). The real issue is - should we be out of town - wayyyyyy out of town - like South America - in 2015. Think Germany circa late 1930's. Good comment's from Liam.

Scott A. Kegley says:
While I myself have long opposed Obama's clear Communistic and Anti-American agenda, I did not take the birther argument seriously until seeing the interviews in Kenya where local people swore to have been present when he was born in a little village there. Also, the alleged birth certificate was proven beyond any reasonable doubt to be a recent computer-generated fake. So stick your head back up your ass, and pretend the Obamunists are here to save you.
