5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the best possible case for iPad 3, April 26, 2012
By
This review is from: The Joy Factory SmartSuit3 - Ultra Slim Snap On Stand/Case with Wake up/Sleep Cover for iPad 4th/3rd/2nd Gen - Black (CSA103) (Personal Computers)
I just received this case today and it definitely makes a case for itself as one of the best cases available for the iPad 3. While the fabric cover feels relatively cheap everything is designed to fit like a glove. My iPad was able to slip into the hard back cover without having to "snap" in and still being secure. The snapping always makes me cringe a bit.

Pros:

-4 foldable pieces on the front cover allows more folded positions,
- Solid build quality on the back cover and front cover with fabric materials gives it a different appearance than most cases
- Fairly lightweight still, hella lighter compared to the pixel ipad case I just returned.
- Has smart cover like magnets with auto on and off.
- Slots where they belong as they used be.

No cons so far that I can see, it's an lightweight alternative with adequate protection in a stunning package.

Protip: I got mine from BH Photo for 42 bucks instead of being on the amazon "waitlist" for days and being charged a higher price.

Do you know if this case allows you to lay the iPad completely flat when you flip the cover over to the back? Or does it still remain angled? I know with some of these integrated back cover/smart cover cases, you can't actually lay the product flat with the cover flipped over to the back. Thanks.

Daniel says:
When you fold it over the back, it is completely flat. The magnet that holds it together on the front when covered actually holds on the back when flat as well.
