I bought Hero 3 black edition with the touch bacpac. I haven't used much so far but I had the freeze problem when I played back the video with the bacpac. It would play for a few seconds and then went dark and dead. I had to pull the battery to reset the camera. I used the Sandisk Micro 64 bits and it is a good brand. I tried to format the disk but it didn't really help. I did some research and it seems there are a lot of people have the problem when they shoot for the video. I contacted the customer service for the problem over email but I didn't get fast response. I had to call to get hold someone and also had a call to get RMA. The product is under warranty but I was told that I had to pay one way shipping for the replacement of the bacpac. I have been dealing with a lot of RMA with different companies but this is the first time I have to pay the shipping. Is this normal? The GoPro really needs to get together before going down and become a bad company. If they can't fix these kind the problems they shouldn't have started selling the products.

I've had to deal with 3 different RMAs with GoPro over the last year and yes, they do make you pay shipping back to them. I had to send my first Hero 3 back to them and pay the $12.00 return shipping. Pretty crappy policy in my opinion.

For something like this it is better to buy from REI, then you can just return it to the store. The price was the same.
