4.0 out of 5 stars Paramount, Please finish putting this show out!, December 8, 2009
Love Family Ties! Grew up watching this show as a kid in the 80s. It ended in 1989 when I was 13. I just wish Paramount would release the last 2 seasons so us fans can complete our collections.

Season 6 I think got moved to Sunday nights if memory serves me correct. This season Alex has a new girlfriend Lauren Miller (played by Courtney Cox, who was not that well known yet.) The first episode of the season is a ONE HOUR EPISODE where Alex meets Lauren. Lauren is doing a assignment for her college course about OVER ACHIEVERS. She decides to use Alex for her project and gives him a pollygraph test, Which is absolutely hilarious. I have this episode on a Columbia House Video but would love to have it and the rest of the series on DVD. You will die laughing at the pollygraph scene.

Please Paramount put the rest of Family Ties out, SOON!

I couldn't agree more. I would love to try and do a GREAT petition. I mean one that is credible and has teeth. It breaks my heart to think I may not be able to complete my collection.

The polygraph scene you mentioned is very very funny.

One of my favorite episodes was when Alex and the family are trying to locate Colonel Crackle, A cereal box game. Alex gets so involved; the prize for finding Crackle is $5000.00. Many great episodes, I hope they finish releasing this series on DVD.
